Dear Single Mum,

So, today could’ve been one of those days—you know, the kind where you play the sad songs, eat the ice cream straight out of the tub, and have a full-blown pity party. Why? It was supposed to be my anniversary. But guess what? Not today, pity party! 🎉
Instead, today turned into a celebration of me. I did something wild and life-changing. Ready for it? I went grocery shopping. 🎉 Yeah, I know—hold your applause, but seriously, it was a vibe! I got dressed, looking cute and cozy, popped on my shiny new headphones, and strutted into that store like I owned the place. Pushing my cart, swaying my hips (because, hello, I still got it), I felt like the main character in a rom-com montage.
Then, I came home and took things up a notch. I made the most mouthwatering lasagna—like, Michelin-star-level, if I do say so myself. That first bite? Heaven. I paired it with some chilled apple sparkling cider (because I’m classy like that), threw on a fantastic show, and bam—the perfect end to my day.
But here’s the real win: I’m proud of myself. Proud that I’m choosing joy. Proud that I’m living and breathing in the moment, even when life tries to pull me back into the past. Some days, it’s been hard to remember how to be happy, but look at me now! Grocery-shopping goddess, lasagna queen, and self-love advocate.
So, how about you? Got any small wins to share? Let’s celebrate the little victories—because sometimes, they’re the big ones in disguise. 💖
